About me

I am a Los Angeles based artist (born and raised). My great-grandfather was an Ashkenazi Jew who escaped Poland before the Holocaust, he ended up in Los Angeles and my family has been here ever since. My passion for anti-Zionism developed when I studied in Palestine during college. My eyes were opened to the ongoing ethnic cleansing and occupation of the Palestinian people.

Who am I?

A lot of my mixed media work includes collage. All my collage work is hand-cut. What does that mean? I do not use photoshop. I use an exacto knife to hand cut each element of my pieces- I then use various glue forms to create the collage. The cohesiveness of my pieces come from hours of sourcing and searching through material. Most of my images were collected from my “library”of recycled and thrifted books. In order to offer affordable art, I scan the original collage piece and produce prints.

Nothing digital.

My frames are part of my artwork. All of the gold frames in my gallery are vintage ornate frames I have refurbished myself. My frames are never bought new. I source all my frames from local vintage markets or thrift stores. I then repair them and repaint them. Custom frame colors/finishes are available for custom orders.

FAQs

  • ‘Mixed media art’ describes artwork composed of different medias and materials. The mixed media first began with Pablo Picasso's 1912 collage Still Life with Chair Caning.

The main medias I use in my artwork are photo collage, acrylic paint, and ash.

  • I create all my collages by hand. I create a physical collage with glue. To create my art prints, I scan my collage to digitalize it. All my prints are exact copies of the original piece.

  • Yes! The beauty of mixed media art is its versatility. I do anything from t-shirt designs, framed “fine art” pieces, album covers, and more.

Custom orders cost a minimum of $100 due to cost of material and time. But reach out with any requests and we can chat. If you like my work- just contact me!

  • No! Anti-Semitism is hostility and prejudice directed against Jewish people. This is a real issue in our world but it is different from being anti-zionist.

Zionism refers to the creation a ‘Jewish only state’ in Palestine corresponding to the historical land of “Israel”. Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to ethnically cleanse indigenous Palestinians off their land so they can live there.

Many Jews reject Zionism. Many Jews are anti-Zionists. Anti-Zionism rejects a political ideology- not the Jewish people.
